corruption new orleans police

Right well I have now started working at one of them LIBRARY type places. I have been enjoying so far, mainly because it is less hectic than retail. I mainly sit down all day, which is nice and I basically do the same kind of things all day. Checking books, cds and dvds out and in and putting items on hold for people. Also giving people spanky new library cards and scanning items in when they come back to the library. Giving people items they have had on hold adn answering the phone. I like the fact that there is an ACTUAL ROTA for the WEEKEND and that I only have to work 2 in 3 saturdays and NO SUNDAYS, JOY You also get extra pay for working saturday, more joy. Another joy is working only ONE LATE in a 3 week period, which is 10 till 7. The latest I work is 6, earliest 4.30. No more shitty retail hours and no shitty working at Christmas or bank holiday with no extra pay. I do miss Borders people of course but thats it, the people were cool. Two 20 minute breaks also and hour lunch, joy. Aaaaannnnyway the people are an interesting mix and I still have to remember everyones names, not quite got them all yet. Of course there are rather a few depts there with different people on them. I am on the front reception desk with ROSIE who I really like she reminds me (mannerisms, personality, voice) of one of my best mates Sarah from uni. She is the ex partner of my ols lecturer Keith Hopwood who sadly died last year. He was great, but sadly an alcoholic and would be pretty much inebriated all the time. She also went to Lampeter uni, but before me and way before things with Keith happened. Small world hey, my friend Zoe also works there, but upstairs in non fiction and she went to Lampeter too. Also on front desk and full time are Steve and Tony. They are cool, quiet yet also quite chatty men in their late 30s. There are a lot of part time staff, therefore I meet quite a few people each day that I will only see a couple of days a week One of them is called Tracey, one of them types that looks at you as if youapos;re a fucking moaron, haha oh well Nice enough tho, but that kind of false niceness that Jo Berk at Borders had.
So yes things are foing fine at the mo, Im especially liking the fact I can take out dvds and cds out for free, unlike the paying public. Books too of course. Lets hope no one turns into an annoying cunt too soon eh?

eeeeeeeee I love Freddie Mercury xxx
